What you hope the Trust will bring to your area: For NDC to fall below the national average of crime, deprivation and unemployment; making sure the people who live here, want to stay and for those who left, to want to return.

What you hope to bring to the Trust: I am passionate about equal opportunities for all residents across the NDC area.  I am especially interested in education, environmental issues and housing.
What you hope the Trust will bring to your area: I would like to see the Trust improve housing opportunities and also for the Church View site to become a hub for Doncaster which provides an international centre for small businesses and community use.

What you hope to bring to the Trust: Integrity, a good understanding of business and the need to make the business succeed but along with this an under- standing that the needs of the community out there are the most important part of the Trust.
What you hope the Trust will bring to the area: A better standard of living for the community.

Name: Arnold Drakeley

Occupation: Recently retired Head of Strategic Partnerships, NHS Doncaster
Homelife: Married, two grown up children.  Interests: family and home, enjoy travelling and seeing other countries and cultures. Manchester City season ticket holder for the past ten years. (for my sins)
What you hope to bring to the Trust: An understanding of the way that health systems work, through a long career in the NHS, with a large part of recent work being around public health strategic partnership issues.  Strategic planning, project management and of programmes delivery experience
What you hope the Trust will bring to the area: As Doncaster is my home town, I was born in Rossington but now live in the town centre, I have a great desire to see it continue to grow and improve. The DCDT area is the heart of Doncaster and it is important that it plays its part in the continuing development of all aspects of the town, its infrastructure and people.

Homelife: Married, two grown up children.  When not at work I enjoy crosswords, Su Doku, listening to the Archers and collecting single malt whiskeys.
What you hope to bring to the Trust:  An appreciation of the nature of worklessness and an understanding of how Jobcentre Plus working with partner organisations can support people back into work.
What you hope the Trust will bring to the area: The effective use of its assets in order to maximise the benefits for the residents of the area served and Doncaster as a whole.

Time lived or worked in the area: Born & brought up in Wales but lived locally since 1974.

Homelife: Married to Brian with 3 grown up sons and 4 young grandchildren.  Much of my time is taken up with work as a councillor but I enjoy time with my family, gardening, reading and community involvement.
What you hope to bring to the Trust: An open minded approach and ability to listen and take on board the views of others to achieve the best outcomes possible to improve the lives of residents & businesses and achieve the aims of the Trust.
What you hope the Trust will bring to the area: Change people’s perceptions of the area by improving the physical environment and making a positive difference to the everyday lives of people living and working in the area.

Homelife: Married with three children.
Living in the heart of the town centre, my family and I use our leisure time to take advantage of the towns excellent facilities and venues.
What you hope to bring to the Trust: Trust and strength; my role is to bring my commercial skill sets to the board and provide strong guidance with particular emphasis on the housing regeneration projects.
What you hope the Trust will bring to the area: Fairer opportunities, a safe environment and a forward thinking community.
