About the Fund
Active at 60 Community Agents are volunteers, nearing or at retirement age who offer their time to help improve the quality of life for people in their community. They will be friendly faces within the community who people can get to know personally and look to for information and help to stay more active after retirement.
The Active at 60 programme aims to help people who are moving into retirement to stay active, independent and positively engaged in society, particularly those who are at most risk of social isolation and loneliness in later life.
